Notes On A Scandal

Criticism makes its Gawker debut today because of Washington Post classical music critic Tim Page’s personal email defaming former D.C. mayor, Marion Barry. Page sent a sassed reply back to an email blast sent by Barry’s publicist, calling Barry a “Crack Addict” and then offering this bit of facetious soul searching:

“I cannot think of anything the useless Marion Barry could do that would interest me in the slightest, up to and including overdose.”

I guess Page is being tied up and ball gagged by Executive Editor Leonard Downie Jr., cuz Page sent his emial via a Washington Post account.

The hottest part is, Gawker readers seem to totally have Page’s back.
