Today’s innaugeree is Jay Nordlinger at The Sun. A former recipient of our coveted CAD (Critics Award of the Day), Nordie gets a DUCHY for his tasteless use of the word “creamy” in his review of Haydn’s opera “Armida” at the Salzburg Festival.

Miss Jay, I know you’re trying to bring sexy back to opera, but you gotta come up with better adjectives than “creamy,” “clean,” “fresh,” and “appealing.” Are you trying to sell opera or feminine hygiene?
