Ouch
Watch out for Wendy Whelan’s “bladed bones” in Joel Lobenthal’s New York Sun review of Christopher Wheeldon’s “The Nightingale and The Rose” at NYC Ballet.
What’s the deal with critics and Whelan? Seems like they almost all pick at what little is left on her endoskeleton, but then idolize her as an icon of ballet. Is she a good dancer or a Nicole Richie lookie-likey? Christ, make up your minds!
